Starting January 1st, 2011, Purchasedge points over 2 years old will expire. Here is a breakdown from HP on what to expect.

Frequently asked questions

Q: When do points expire?

A:

Points older than two years expire on January 1, 2011. PurchasEdge members receive notification six months, three months, one month, and two weeks before expiration.

Q: What if my customer wants a printer that is out of stock?

A:

Please have your customer call the PurchasEdge Support Center at 1-888-264-6599 to place the item on back order or discuss other product options.

Q: When will resellers be notified?

A:

Notifications have been included in reseller quarterly newsletters since 2008. To view a list of members whose points will be expiring, please visit the reporting tool located here.

Q: Will resellers know the amount of points expiring for each member?

A:

No. A PurchasEdge member’s exact points are not provided to a reseller, as that is viewed as a privacy violation. We will, however, provide a point range and percentage of total points via the point-expiration report found here.

Q: Can points be donated?

A:

Yes. PurchasEdge points can be donated to any of the 30+ participating charities, nonprofits and schools. Members can visit purchasedge.com and click on the “Donate your points” link.

Q: Will there be any exceptions?

A:

No. Unfortunately, we can’t make exceptions. PurchasEdge has been communicating this forthcoming change since January 1, 2008, via e-mail, e-statements, and the PurchasEdge member

and reseller websites.

Q: How often will points expire after January 2011?

A:

Every six months. The next expiration after January 1, 2011, will be July 1, 2011

Brother Color Printer Toner Cartridges

by Administrator 14. March 2010 20:27

The Brother MFC-9440CN, 9450CDN, 9840CDW & DCP9040CN, 9045CDN, HL-4040CN, 4040CDN, and 4070CDW all use the same set of toners. There is a Black, Cyan, Magent and Yellow cartridge required for this pritner.

There are two versions of toner.

This group of toner is the standard yield cartridges for this printer.  The letter at the end of the partnumber stands for the color of the cartridge. The black cartridge yields 2,500 prints and the color cartridges are rated for 1,500 prints. These cartridges are fine for a single printer user and a moderate work load.

The second version of toner is the high yield set.

This group of toner will yield a considerable amout higher. The black is rated at 5,000 pages and the color is rated at 4,500 pages. While the toner is priced higher than the standard yield the saving is considerable. These cartridges are recomended for people using this pritner in a work group and a heavy print load.

Keep in mind that both of these sets of cartridges are the same physical size. Brother just fills the high yield version with more toner.

Bic Duo, BHP11-BK and BHP11-BE Highlighter and Pen combo

by Administrator 28. February 2010 19:17

Bic Duo

Click to see a demo of the new Bic Duo, Its a pen and a highlighter all in one.

What if you could highlight and write without having to hold a pen and a marker in your hand at the same time? Pick one up.. Put one down.. Pick one up, Put one down.

Anybody that uses a highlighter and a pen at the same time for work or study knows how taxing it can be on your hand, wrist and arm and in due time, your back. Now with the simple twist of your hand, the pen becomes a highlighter and another twist brings it back to being a pen.

We have heard lots of postive feedback about this item. I have talked to a few people who use this item while they study the bible, they have nothing but great things to say about the Duo.

BHP11-BE  Blue Ink  / Yellow highlighter > More Info

Ballpoint pen and highlighter in the same point…just twist

  • Write and highlight…from the same pen! A simple twist switches the point from ballpoint to highlighter. Why keep a separate pen and a highlighter with you, when one instrument is all you need? Great for home, school, office or traveling.
  • 1.0 mm medium point is ideal for a variety of writing tasks. The 1.0mm tip ensures your writing will be noticed…then twist to highlight to make it really stand out!
  • Unique traction pockets offer a comfortable hold. Pockets provide a sure, stable grip for all-day comfort and better control.
  • Pocket clip allows easy, hands-free portability.
  • Highlighter is refillable for continued use.
